The beginning, of The Beginning

Well, its 1-1-11 (even though its about to be 12am) and here is my first blog! Today begins a new year, in many ways. 5 yrs, 3 months, and 16 days ago my life changed when my babygirl came into this world (August 15th, 2005). I was young and niave, and had no idea what I was getting into. I knew my world had changed, and I knew that I loved the feeling of being a mommy...but I had no idea the amount of unconditional love, and joy, and happiness... (with a little bit of anxiety-LOL)... I would experience! Alanah has become.. or was born... a "rockstar".



2009

 She LOVES singing & dancing!! She plans on "going on a big plane to American Idol, and winning" when she gets a little older, she says we're all going with her so we can hold up signs that say 'WE <3 ALANAH' from the audience! She just got her first guitar-which reminds me, today she said that she can actually start playing now because she found her "toothPICK" HAHA.     



So our life has pretty much been ALL PINK.. and then, Mama kissed a frog..and now we have Jake :)   (Sept 5, 2010):

It is amazing to watch the two of them bonding, even being so young! He knows when Alanah walks in the room!! Alanah says "he's even cute when he cries!!" They melt my heart! I would have never imagine this is where I would be in life right now, but I absolutely could not imagine being anywhere else!!

              We just had our first Christmas together, and there is proof of it ALL OVER the house-Still! :) Jake jumped in his jumperoo for three hours straight on Christmas morning while Alanah opened her presents. I swear, he's still recooperating.. and Alanah has been playing so hard she's been sleeping in for an extra hour, with the same bed time!! Thank you Santa!!  

Well, here comes a whole new world....filled with barbies, and tonka trucks!  2011, I don't think your ready for us!
